I am pleased to report that our offices are now back open for business. We have put rigorous plans in place to ensure the safety of our staff and customers alike.
Currently, our offices are open on an appointment basis only in order to minimise face to face close contact, but obviously we are on hand to answer any property queries you may have.
I am pleased to say that physical viewings and valuations are now taking place. Obviously again we are observing a strict safety policy and following all of the necessary government guidelines. In brief, the viewing criteria are as follows:
Viewings shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes
All door handles and touch surfaces will be sanitised before and after every viewing
No more than 2 people can attend per viewing appointment
Appropriate PPE should be worn where possible (ie gloves and masks)
And of course, most importantly, social distancing-2 metres should be observed at all times
With regards to valuations, essentially the criteria are the same. We are then either having a chat with the owner outside at a safe distance or arranging a time to call over the phone later in the day if the client prefers. If people are still uncomfortable with a physical valuation being carried out, then we are more than happy to conduct one via Face time or Zoom.
